We are happy to welcome back Oklahoma native Samuel Regan for the second single "Emergence" from the upcoming "Behind Veils" LP. Samuel has been attending Mills Collage in Oakland, CA and has also been busy with new aspirations in digital synthesis and sound design while pursuing his degree in electronic music. This work represents another milestone for the artist and we are pleased to share it with all of you.

I'm thrilled to present my new full length album, Behind Veils. It's my ninth studio album and first release since early 2018. I share it with more pride than any past work, as a culmination of visions and ideas and a taste of what's to come.

The music arose from a two-year trip into synthesis and digital signal processing, which seem somehow endowed with infinitude and fraught with illusions of control and choice. They can shape sounds that emerge as living and breathing entities: filling uncanny spaces as geometries viewed from impossible vantage points. The songs guide these artifacts out into the daylight to dance and unfold like gestures in their own language. Their subjects include illusion, ecology, philosophy and psychedelia; the theatrical and the paradoxical - which all seem speak to us from behind a veil.

I hope the music finds you healthy and well. There are so many challenging days behind and ahead of us - when things get hard, sometime meaning collapses and there's no music, and that's okay. An optimism runs through some of these sounds that won't always resonate, but they'll welcome you back... Sometimes an escape into unreality can be the loveliest medicine.
